An acquaintance of mine -- someone with an eye for antiques -- is always on the lookout for rare and beautiful pieces with that weathered finish. She says the chippier the paint, the more people love them. It's true; you just can't look away. While those authentic old pieces are hard to find, we make it our mission to scout until we find that weathered chest, the perfect sideboard, the vintage mercantile counter, the aged barn door. These items are refashioned into a treasure that just can't be replicated anywhere else.

Our clients are grateful when that perfect find is transformed into a uniquely designed family heirloom. Classic or casual, each of our refashioned pieces are priceless, touched with just the right amount of worn. In giving these timeless treasures new life, we also are making the choice to be environmentally conscious.

Hand-crafted Pieces

We’re always scouring reclaimed wood lots and architectural salvage shops for interesting discoveries, and that’s where we come across ancient timbers and rough sawn planks in a variety of species like pine, hickory, spruce, Douglas fir and beautifully sustained red and white oak. We believe that these aged timbers deserve a second life. Reclaimed, yes, but untouched by time, you would not believe the way they come back to life after they are planed and gently sanded. Each of the tables we craft from these hand-selected timbers are unique and elegantly hand-made to our specifications. We also are eager to bring to life the design ideas our clients may have in mind.

The craftsmanship in our dining and coffee tables, sideboards, and range hoods – and everything we do -- is timeless in style, beauty, and practicality. Our furniture pieces are made with attention to every detail and in a variety of styles. Friends often ask: “Why is it so hard to find unique, one-of-a-kind furniture pieces or antiques?"

I understand that plight. I used to be there myself. And then one day, I came across a stunning round wooden table painted in a buttercream yellow and all I could do was sigh and stare at it. I finally asked the sales clerk if it was for sale. Of course, it was not, but undeterred I talked her into calling the shop owner to ask if he would consider selling it to me. "It was in a hotel in Ireland, and the moment I saw it, I fell in love with it, " he said. He could tell I was in love with it, too. I bought the table and have been shopping for those special treasures ever since.
